Bollywood’s beloved couple, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, have once again set fans laughing out loud - but this time, for an unexpected reason! Fans believe that the duo may have unintentionally recreated the hilarious birthday scene from the 2003 comedy classic Hungama, featuring veteran actors Paresh Rawal and Shoma Anand.

A video of RK joining the paparazzi in singing 'Baar baar din ye aaye' for his wife's pre-birthday sit-down interaction with the media went viral online. After cutting her cake, Alia took the first bite of the fruit cake, after which, she scooped out another piece for Ranbir. The cute clip seemed to have reminded Bollywood fans of another filmy moment from Hungama.

In a lighthearted dig at the couple, fans pointed out how the chaotic birthday moment, bore an uncanny resemblance to the iconic birthday scene in the Bollywood film, which left fans laughing out loud. In the original scene, Rawal’s character is seen clapping while his wife cuts her cake. He humorously reaches forward to eat a piece but stops himself when Shoma ends up eating the cake herself.


Fans were quick to notice similarities and shred the two videos, sparking a wave of memes on social media.

Kapoor also said that work on pre-production for the sequel to his much-anticipated movie Brahmastra is most likely to begin this year. "'Brahmastra 2' is something that Ayan has been nurturing as a dream for a very long time, the entire story of 'Brahmastra'. He is currently working on 'War 2'. Once the film releases, he is going to start the pre-production of 'Brahmastra 2', it (the film) is definitely happening. We haven't announced much of it, but there will be some interesting announcements coming regarding 'Brahmastra 2'," he told reporters.
