Raju Srivastava’s tryst with Bollywood

The entertainment industry lost a precious gem today as actor and comedian Raju Srivastava breathed his last at the age of 58. After battling for life for nearly 40 days, the popular performer passed away at a hospital in Delhi. Raju Srivastava was admitted to the hospital after he suffered a heart attack while working out in the gym. He was popular for his funny performances and he had sprinkled his charm in several Bollywood films too. Take a look:

Raju Srivastava essayed the role of one of Shilpa Shetty’s college classmates. He was seen in the scene where Shilpa Shetty enters college and later on Raju joins Shilpa during the party scene too. Raju Srivastava’s character in ‘Baazigar’ was smitten by Shilpa’s presence.

Raju Srivastava essayed a brief role in this Salman Khan and Bhagyashree starrer love saga. Towards the end of the movie Salman fights with thugs and Raju Srivastava played the role of a thug’s aide in the film.

Raju Srivastava sprinkled his happy charm throughout this entertainer, which starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Abhishek Bachchan in lead roles. While he played the role of a domestic help in Bebo’s house, Raju’s comedic inputs throughout the narrative were hilarious.

Raju Srivastava essayed a pivotal role in ‘Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya’. His performance as Baba Chin Chin Choo, a local thug, was totally entertaining and hilarious. He shared the frame with Govinda in this movie, which released in 2001.
