Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra recently made headlines when he was arrested yesterday by the Mumbai Police in a pornography-related case. He spent the night in custody of the Crime Branch, Mumbai. As per reports, he was produced in court during the second half of the day. Raj Kundra tied the knot with actress Shilpa Shetty on 22 November 2009. Later, they welcomed a baby boy Viaan Raj Kundra, on 21 May 2012. Last year, the couple had a daughter via surrogacy in February. They named her Samisha Shetty Kundra. The lovebirds often share pictures and videos of their little ones on Instagram. In May, their kids Viaan and Samisha, Raj's parents, Shilpa's mom Sunanda Shetty along with their two staff members had tested positive for coronavirus. The actress had taken to her social media profile and informed everyone that she is COVID-negative.

With the help of a face swap app, he gives a hilarious Punjabi rendition to popular scenes from movies and web series, be it Money Heist or Titanic. Raj Kundra has been married twice. His first wife is Kavita, with whom he had a daughter. The couple got divorced. Back then, when Shilpa went to London, Raj had offered her his bachelor pad to stay. This surprised the actress since he was married. But later, he came out and told her about his divorce proceedings. On 22 November 2009 Kundra married the Bollywood actress.

In 2009, Raj and Shilpa had invested in a cricket team. The legality of the investment was questioned by departments of the Government of India. Kundra was questioned by Delhi Police with regards to the 2013 spot-fixing case. Later, Delhi police gave a clean chit to Kundra in reply on right to information (RTI). On Monday night, he was arrested by Mumbai Police for allegedly creating pornographic films and publishing them through some mobile applications. "Businessman Raj Kundra has been arrested by the Crime Branch in a case relating to the creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some apps. He appears to be the key conspirator. We have sufficient evidence regarding this," said Mumbai Police Commissioner Hemant Nagrale.
