Priyanka Chopra pays touching tribute to late father Ashok Chopra as she celebrates brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding to Neelam Upadhayaya

The Chopra family welcomed the newest member Neelam Upadhayaya, as she took the plunge with Siddharth Chopra over the weekend.

Big sister, Priyanka Chopra on Monday shared the happy news of the nuptials on her Instagram handle and took a moment to remember her late father, Ashok Chopra. Sharing snapshots from the big day, Priyanka also posted a throwback family photo featuring Siddharth on his dad's lap while she sat on mommy Madhu's lap and smiled widely for the picture.

Sid and Neelam officially tied the knot in a registered marriage. The intimate wedding saw the couple perform the hastakshar (signature) ceremony at their home, following which they kicked off the party with their guests and extended family members. Among the touching pictures from the ceremony were ones that saw Neelam getting emotional with mother-in-law Madhu, while another saw the bride and groom touching Priyanka's feet, taking her blessings as their elder sister.

Priyanka flew to Mumbai last Friday to attend her brother's wedding function. She previously attended his engagement early this year, with her husband, Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie.
