'One year waiting list to meet Premanand ji Maharaj', reveals Raj Kundra; Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli are often seen visiting him

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are known followers of Premanand Ji Maharaj, and over the years. One often sees videos of the couple visiting Vrindavan to meet him. Fans are touched by their interaction with Premanand ji Maharaj and their spiritual inclination. One has also seen how they have been motivated to chant the name of the Lord (naam sankirtan) by the influence of Premand Maharaj. Meeting him, however, is no easy task—reportedly, the wait time stretches up to a year since the guru only interacts with about 50–60 people a day. Recently, one also saw Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty visiting him.In a recent interview, Raj Kundra opened up on meeting him and what compelled him to pledge his kidney to him.

Raj spoke about it during an interview with Filmygyan and said, “I have been following a spiritual guru for a very long time. In fact, for the last two years, I have been reposting Premanand Ji’s messages and I had the opportunity… He only meets 50-60 people a day and there’s like a one-year waiting list for a chance to get in. So we got a chance where Shilpa and I could go and meet him and it was the best day of my life.”

While many approach the guru hoping to seek answers to their personal questions, Raj Kundra admitted he was left speechless. “People go with an intent that they will ask him a question, that they will ask something that can enlighten them but when I went in front of him, I was dumbfounded, I couldn’t say anything. We all think we have problems in our life. We think we don’t have money, or we want to buy some luxurious item, but Premanand Ji, for the last 20 years, he has been living with 2 kidneys failed, on a dialysis 5 hours a day, yet smiling, yet happy, what a message!”

Deeply moved, Raj further said he instinctively offered to donate one of his own kidneys. “Sir, I would like to pledge a kidney,” he recalled telling the guru. “I am sure there are thousands of people like me but people started trolling me for that also. And I am thinking, it’s my kidney, I can give it to whomever I want. And you are calling it a PR promotion. You can’t even take your phone inside, it’s whatever they wish to put out. Now they put it out saying that look at the bhavna and bhakti of people that they have for sir so, it didn’t bother me.”

Meanwhile, Rapper Badshah also recently went to Vrindavan to meet Premanand Maharaj. He visited the ashram along with his brother, who wanted guidance on personal relationships. During the meeting, Badshah quietly listened as Maharaj shared wisdom about life, peace, and the true meaning of happiness.
