Ace fashion designer and actress Masaba Gupta surprised everyone on Friday after she announced that she tied the knot with actor Satyadeep Misra in an intimate wedding.

The new bride Masaba revealed that she had a simple court marriage, early Friday (January 27) morning, as the idea was to keep the wedding small. She revealed that she and Satyadeep wanted to tie the knot in the presence of just their immediate families.

Both Masaba and her hubby Satyadeep wore House Of Masaba for the big day. To celebrate the colours that reflect Indian beliefs, she ditched the traditional whites and reds to wear a Barfi Pink ‘paan-Patti’ lehenga paired with two dupattas - one in a Lime Green Wallflower Print dupatta with a sequinned border & the other with ‘open hearts’ embellished on it in rani pink. She topped the look off with custom jewellery with 'Chand Taara' inspired headpieces.
Satyadeep, on the other hand, wore a barfi pink wallflower bandi and a kurta-pyjama.

According to celebrity photographer Joseph Radhik, the wedding was a secret affair. Going by his post, the photographer seemed to have been caught off-guard when he realised the designer booked him to shoot her wedding photos. He wrote, "Masabi, you don't tell someone you're getting married by asking, 'Joe you're available on 27th for a shoot'?."

Masaba revealed that 'it meant a lot' to her that her father, Sir Vivian Richards flew down to be by her side as she tied the knot. Saying that her wedding was the 'biggest moment' in her life, she appreciated how her entire family came together. She told Vogue, "It's the first time in my life that my stepfather, my father, my mother, my mother-in-law, and my sister-in-law are all going to be in the same room celebrating together."

Much like her wedding ceremony, Masaba said her reception would be just as intimate. The star revealed that she will host a small celebration with only around 80-85 people 'who have had a meaningful relationship' with her and Satyadeep. These attendees will include the bridal couple's closest friends and family members.
