Director Imitiaz Ali's revealed in an interview that the screenplay of a relationship changes with time, however, the basic rules of desire remain the same. Keeping that in mind, this sequel to the Saif and Deepika starrer will reportedly make use of the cinematic tool that is parallel or non-linear narratives. Since the plot compared contemporary love with nostalgic 'love in those days', the juxtaposition of the past and present will be included in the narrative. So buckle those seatbelts because viewers are sure to be in for a romantic ride between past and present love stories.
