'Laal Singh Chaddha'

Despite boasting Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles, 'Laal Singh Chaddha' struggled to impress audiences. The film, a remake of 'Forrest Gump', saw a massive drop in collections after its opening weekend. Whether due to boycott calls or its uneven pacing, the film failed to connect emotionally, proving that even a beloved Hollywood classic can lose its charm in translation.

2/6

'Action Replayy'

Starring Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, 'Action Replayy' had vibrant visuals, catchy music, and an interesting time-travel plot. The story followed a son using a time machine to fix his parents’ troubled relationship. A remake of 'Back to the Future', the film lacked the heart and spark of the original, turning out to be a forgettable watch.

3/6

'Dil Bole Hadippa'

Rani Mukerji played a woman who disguises herself as a man to enter a male cricket team in 'Dil Bole Hadippa!'. While the premise was progressive and entertaining, the execution lacked freshness. A remake of 'She’s The Man', it failed to hit a six with the audience.

4/6

'Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke'

Featuring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, 'Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke' revolved around a couple caught in a web of lies and pretence. Despite its emotional storyline, the film turned out to be a commercial failure, earning less than its high production cost. A remake of 'A Walk in the Clouds', it failed to recreate the tenderness of the original.

5/6

'God Tussi Great Ho'

In 'God Tussi Great Ho', Salman Khan played a man frustrated with his life who gets a chance to play God for a day. The concept had promise but was poorly executed. A remake of 'Bruce Almighty', it ended up being more chaotic than comic, failing to leave any impact at the box office.

6/6

'Players'

With a star-studded cast including Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, 'Players' was marketed as a slick, stylish thriller. A remake of 'The Italian Job', the film promised high-stakes heists and action but ended up being dull and overlong. Despite its scale and soundtrack, it fell flat both critically and commercially.
