There’s also a glamorous vanity corner with a large mirror surrounded by lights and a classic Hollywood-style chair, completing his personal dressing area.

One of the most interesting aspects of Johar’s home is that it’s a duplex, with the lower level dedicated mainly to work. Perhaps the most surprising detail about this stylish home is that Karan hadn’t even stepped inside it until it was fully ready. The interiors are entirely the vision of Gauri Khan, who designed the home without Karan’s direct input. Sharing this story with Architectural Digest India, Karan said, “I have no contribution to it. This is Gauri Khan’s baby. The night we called really close friends for dinner was the night I saw the house for the first time, so when I was showing it, I was also seeing it.” It’s a testament to the deep trust and creative bond between Karan and Gauri.
