Kangana Ranaut is riding high on the success of her latest outing, 'Thalaivii'. The actress has been receiving praise from all quarters for her stellar performance. She essayed the role of actress-turned-politician J Jayalalithaa. The star underwent a massive physical change and she opened up about the same recently.

Note of gratitude

Recently, the actress penned a note of gratitude for her team. She wrote, ''Rarely a film love passionately and unanimously...Ans Thalaivii is one such film...I am glad people getting to know Purchai Thalaivi Dr J. Jayalalithaa's story also big thanks to my team for making a film which is a shinning diamond in my filmography'' #gratitude''.

She further took a dig at Bollywood Mafia and wrote, ''Meanwhile waiting for Bollywood Mafia to keep our political and ideological differences aside just how I don't find it difficult to appreciate genuine art may be they can also rise above petty human emotions and for once let art win #Thalaivii''.

'Thalaivii' transformation

For her onscreen transformation, the 'Queen' actress underwent a massive physical change. “Gaining 20 kgs in 6 months and loosing it all within 6 months that too in my thirties messed up many things in my body …. I also have permanent stretch marks as well but art comes to life with a price and more often than not price is the artist him/herself #thalaivii,” Kangana had shared.

Upcoming projects

On the work front, she is also shooting for her next 'Tejas', where she plays a fighter pilot. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country's defence forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016 and the film takes inspiration from the landmark event. 'Tejas' is directed by Sarvesh Mewara. The film will pay a tribute to the Indian military after the immensely successful film 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' which was released in January 2019.

Yet another instance of KR contradicting herself. If appreciation of her movie is "unanimous" then what is she accusing "Bollywood mafia" off?? By virtue of the definition one of her statements is WRONG.
