‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’, ‘Bhediya’, ‘Sanki’: Varun Dhawan’s interesting line-up of films that will get you all excited

Varun Dhawan kick-started the year by marrying the love of his life Natasha Dalal in a beautiful private ceremony with his close friends and family in attendance. Now, the actor is all set to dive into his work. Varun has four upcoming films, all of the different genres.

From Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg ‘Jeeyo’ to Amar Kaushik’s ‘Bhediya’, here’s a line-up of Varun’s upcoming films that is sure to get you excited.

Varun Dhawan started shooting for Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ last November. He is romantically paired opposite Kiara Advani in the movie. He contracted COVID-19 during his shoot of the film in Chandigarh. However, the actor soon recovered and resumed work.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the film is a dramedy that revolves around the life of two couples of different generations. It promises to be a laugh riot. ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ also stars Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the lead roles.

Amar Kaushik of ‘Stree’ fame is coming back with yet another horror-comedy titled, ‘Bhediya’. Starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead role, the movie will be a dark monster comedy.

Varun is currently shooting for the film in Arunachal Pradesh with his team. The film also features Abhishek Banerjee and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles. It is slated to hit the theatres on April 14, 2022. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, not just Varun, but his filmmaker father David Dhawan too loves the subject.

After ‘Bhediya’, Varun will reportedly start shooting for Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Sanki’. The movie is reportedly an unabashed commercial entertainer with action, drama and comedy. Varun will be seen essaying the role of a larger-than-life action hero in the movie.

Varun and Nadiadwala are reuniting after their 2017 outing ‘Judwaa 2’. Varun will reportedly undergo a two-month preparation process for the film before it begins.

Varun Dhawan and Sriram Raghavan will be collaborating yet again for their upcoming film, ‘Ekkis’. It is a story about Second Lieutenant Arun Kheterpal.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, it is a period war film and the actor will be undergoing intense training for the same. He is also expected to spend some time at the National Defense Academy and go through the grind to prepare for the role.
