While he has kept details under wraps, the cryptic post quickly set social media on fire. Fans wasted no time in sharing theories—some guessed it could be a political drama, while others believed it teased the theme of his next film. The mystery only deepened the buzz around the post.
Earlier this year, Salman starred in Sikandar alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Despite its big budget and high expectations, the Sajid Nadiadwala-backed film failed to strike a chord with audiences, underperforming at the box office. Directed by AR Murugadoss, Sikandar faced sharp criticism for its weak screenplay, lackluster direction, and underwhelming performances.
The superstar played Sanjay ‘Sikandar’ Rajkot, a man on a mission to protect three organ recipients after the death of his wife, played by Rashmika Mandanna. Her character, Saisri, serves as the emotional trigger for his transformation into a crusader against a corrupt political system. Despite its ambitious premise, the film couldn’t recapture the magic of Salman’s earlier blockbusters.
Soon after Sikandar, Salman Khan announced his next project — Battle of Galwan. In this patriotic drama, the actor will step into the role of a soldier, with the story rooted in the real-life events of June 2020, when Indian and Chinese forces clashed in the high-altitude Galwan Valley of Ladakh. Chitrangda Singh has been cast as the female lead opposite Salman, adding to the anticipation around the film.
As for Salman Khan’s cryptic post, it arrives amid reports that the superstar is exploring multiple new projects—some of which are said to be experimental and outside his typical action-packed zone. While there's been no official confirmation, his mysterious message has only heightened curiosity. Up next, Salman will be seen returning as the host of Bigg Boss 19.
