Inside Neelam Kothari's Lonavala bungalow: All about the star’s 30-year-old ‘slice of paradise’
Neelam Kothari, an icon from the early 90s cinema, has quite an extravagant lifestyle. After doing films like ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, ‘Antim Nyay’, and many others, she retired from the showbiz, but not all things bling. She became a jewellery designer and soon was able to establish a successful empire. In recent years, she has even made a comeback through OTT shows and even handled her own online channel. Amidst all of this and leading quite a busy life, Kothari finds her haven in her family bungalow, which is reportedly around 30 years old. Here is a look at the star’s everyday lifestyle in her bungalow.
She posted the video along with the caption, “Aaj main aapko apne Lonavala wale family vacation home ka tour karwa rahi hoon, jo mere dil ke bahut kareeb hai. Yeh 30 saal purana bungalow mere parents ne bahut pyaar aur mehnat se banaya tha, aur iske har kone se judi hain khoobsurat yaadein. Is vlog mein maine aapke saath family memories, funny stories aur is ghar ke renovation plans bhi share kiye hain” (Today I'm taking you on a tour of my family vacation home in Lonavala, which is very close to my heart. This 30-year-old bungalow was built with a lot of love and hard work by my parents, and every corner of it is filled with beautiful memories. In this vlog, I'll share family memories, funny stories, and renovation plans for this home.)
The two-storey bungalow, situated amid the greenery of Lonavala, has a vintage charm. The house features off-white walls and wooden accents throughout, directly contrasting with the brown tile flooring and the old wooden furniture. Talking about the property as she sat in one of the outdoor swings on the balcony, Kothari said, “It's just peace of mind, and it's my slice of paradise.”
The family bungalow is home to antique wooden furniture pieces and grand entrance doors, with large windows. Along with many of these antique pieces, Kothari pointed out a chest near the entrance of her home, which she estimated "must be "150 odd years" old, further adding that her mother loved to collect antiques.
Further, a spacious outer area surrounds the property, adding more to the enchanting appeal of the house.
