'Kai Po Che'

Helmed by Abhishek Kapoor, 'Kai Po Che' revolves around the lives of three friends- Sushant Singh Rajput, Amit Sadh and Rajkumar Yadav. The film talks about friendship, their dreams, how they fulfil their ambitions and more. Set in Ahmedabad, the three friends want to start their own sports shop and sports academy. The film title Kai Po Che is originally a Gujarati phrase that means "I have cut" which refers to Makar Sankranti.

'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara'

Helmed by Zoya Akhtar, 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' is one of the most loved films. The movie starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif, and Kalki Koechlin. It was shot in Spain, India, Egypt, and the United Kingdom. A few days back, the film clocked nine years of release. Zoya Akhtar walked down memory lane, looking back at the time of making the film. She took to her Instagram handle to share some priceless moments from the sets of the film.

'Cocktail'

Helmed by Homi Adajania, 'Cocktail', the film recently completed 8 years. The film starred Deepika Padukone, Saif Ali Khan, Diana Penty in pivotal roles. But till date, Deepika Padukone's character Veronica Malaney is one of the most loved characters. When the film completed 8 years, Deepika shared a special post on her Instagram handle. The post was captioned as, ''8 Years of Cocktail Often I’m asked if there is a moment I would like to relive...The answer is YES!�� #8YearsOfCocktail''. The film is based on the lives of three strangers who eventually become friends and live together.

3 idiots

Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, '3 Idiots' received widespread critical and commercial success. The film starred Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Boman Irani and Omi Vaidya in pivotal roles. It is based on the friendship of three students at an Indian engineering college. It is narrated through parallel dramas, one in the present and the other ten years in the past.

Dostana

This 2008 rom-com starred Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra in pivotal roles. Bobby Deol, Kirron Kher, Sushmita Mukherjee and Boman Irani were seen in supporting roles. It is three people who become good friends and start living together. The two men pretend to be gay to share an apartment as PeeCee wanted girls as flatmates. But eventually, both fall in love with her.

Dil Chahta Hai

Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna's 'Dil Chahta Hai' is touted to be a cult classic today. The film also starred Preity Zinta, Sonali Kulkarni and Dimple Kapadia in lead roles. It revolves around the lives of three friends who go through many transitions. It narrates the story of the romantic lives of three college-graduate friends. It is set in present-day Mumbai and Sydney.
