From 'Suhaag' to 'Sooryavanshi': When Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn teamed up to entertain the audience

While the trailer of Rohit Shetty's most awaited film 'Sooryavanshi' starring Katrina Kaif and Akshay Kumar which released yesterday left everyone stunned it was Ajay Devgn and Akshay's camaraderie which left everyone in splits at the trailer launch.

From taking a dig at Ranveer Singh for coming late for the trailer launch to pulling each other's leg; Akshay and Ajay won over the audience with their bond. Well, this is has got everyone excited for 'Sooryavanshi' but did you know that the talented actors have teamed up together before as well on the silver screen. Here's a look at the films which featured the impressive duo of Ajay and Akshay.

The charismatic duo of Ajay and Akshay teamed up for the first time on the silver screen for filmmaker Kuku Kohli's 'Suhaag' back in 1994. The film which also starred Karisma Kapoor and Nagma in pivotal roles turned out to be one of the highest-grossing films of that year and turned out to be a turning point in both Ajay and Akshay's career. Both the talented actors put their best foot forward in the action thriller and won over the audience with their brilliant performance.

Rajkumar Santoshi's thriller 'Khakee' which starred the likes of Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Tusshar Kapoor, Prakash Raj and others was one of the most talked-about films of 2004 due to the ensemble star cast. But it was the stellar performance by Ajay and Akshay that stole the thunder as they went face to face in the film. Apart from being critically acclaimed, the film which also turned out to be one of the highest-earning films of 2004 as well.

Right after the success of 'Khakee', Ajay and Akshay collaborated once again for another action drama which was titled as 'Insan'. The film which was helmed by K. Subash also starred Esha Deol, Lara Dutta and Tusshar Kapoor in pivotal roles and was a remake of 2002 Telugu film 'Khadgam'. The film might have received a mixed response from the critics as well as the audience but Ajay and Akshay camaraderie was quite evident on the silver screen.

The duo will soon be seen together in Rohit Shetty's upcoming film 'Sooryavanshi' which also stars Katrina Kaif and Ranveer Singh. While Akshay joins the cop universe of Shetty, Ranveer and Ajay will be making a special appearance as Simmba and Singham respectively. The trailer which got the fans on the edge of their seats has dominated social media but what has grabbed everyone's attention was Ajay and Akshay bond during the trailer launch which won over the audience. The film is slated to release on 24th March.
