From Shiva No.1 to overdose of sex talks: Highlights from 'Koffee With Karan 7' which became a talking point

'Koffee With Karan' season 7 was quite a steamy affair and every episode served major gossip and fun facets that made head headlines. No wonder, it's a guilty pleasure for many. But from an interesting combination of celebrities that came on board to the 'Koffee Bingo' and sizzling rapid fire - this season was quite a hit and made it to the top position on its OTT platform. So, here's picking out major highlights from this season that could sum it up!

Karan Johar has been mercilessly trolled for taking Alia Bhatt's name too often on the show and almost in every episode. From asking the celebrities to name the actor who's on the top according to them or just any random topic - Karan perhaps just needed a chance to mention Alia. Just like Danish Sait said it in the last episode that it was equivalent to Alia's character screaming 'Shivaa' in Brahmastra. So much so, that in the last episode Alia has finally told Karan to stop talking about her. The duo joked that they should mock a public fall out or something.

Right from asking celebrities the weirdest place they've made out at to enquiring if they have a sex playlist - Karan's interest in everyone's sex life was at its peak all through the show. Varun Dhawan also turned sex guru and asked random strangers how often do they have an intercourse. Oh, there was also a mention of 'suhaag raat' and 'suhaag din'. In the last episode, the host told Tamnay Bhatt, Kusha Kapila, Niharika MM and Danish Sait that he does have a problem - that he wants to know about everyone's sex life. But no, the sex talk in the show was not to make up for the lack of it in his own life, he confessed. Owing to this criticism, Karan has said he's going to be careful in the next season and not have such a heavy dose of this conversation.

While Karan couldn't stop asking people about their sex-lives, he couldn't help but offer to play cupid to those who were single. For instance, he told Kriti Sanon that they should all go out for dinner and he would play cupid between her and Aditya Roy Kapur. He also admitted that he tried to play cupid between Ishaan Khatter and Shanaya Kapoor. Not to mention, he asked many celebs to make manifestations on the couch while asking them about their cruses. The so called 'cheese-platter' bit is proof. He also made sure he further motivates Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani to get married.

While hosting the show, Karan Johar spilled secrets about many celebrities or made he instigated them enough to open up. While Kiara couldn't help but confess that Sidharth and her are more than close friends, Karan also shared that Ananya Panday was dating two boys at the same time. To which her mother, Bhavana Panday responded that she was oscillating between the two hence she broke up with one. Moreover, Karan revealed on the show that that Janhvi and Sara were dating two brothers.

Many celebrities also opened up to Karan about things that were deeply emotional. For instance, Gauri Khan finally opened up about what the family felt when Aryan was arrested. Maheep and Bhavna spoke about the times in their lives when their husbands weren't doing that well in their careers. Karan admitted that he was taking therapy for 4-5 years and now he's developed a thick skin to criticism.

Ranveer Singh's impressions of various actors like Dharmendra and Hrithik Roshan and Arjun Kapoor's straight-faced humour is hard to forget.
