From Karisma Kapoor to Rekha: Actresses who stayed single after separation

In 1991 Amrita married Saif Ali Khan and divorced him in 2004. Amrita did not remarry instead she focused all of her time on raising and nurturing her children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan (and returning to acting from time to time).

Chitrangda married golfer Jyoti Randhawa in 2001 but separated in 2014. Chitrangda has kept busy with films and at the same time been a mother, but has yet to remarry.

Simplicity and great fortune have given us one of the most delightful artists of the 90s with Karisma Kapoor. Married to businessman Sunjay Kapur in 2003, Karisma had a rocky relationship and separated from Sunjay in 2016. Since the divorce she is not married and has focused on her two kids: Samaira and Kiaan, and acted in selective Bollywood, OTT projects.

Pooja married VJ and restaurant owner Manish Makhija in 2003, but two decided to separate amicably in 2014. Since then, she has not remarried and has remained focused on her filmmaking and acting while being a vocal advocate for women's empowerment.

The eternal diva, married businessman Mukesh Aggarwal who was based in Delhi, in 1990. Tragically, Aggarwal died from suicide in 1991. Since then, Rekha has never remarried and remains an enigmatic, eternal figure in Indian cinema.
