Govinda, a celebrated Indian actor known for his comedic performances, experienced a serious incident on October 1, 2024, when he accidentally shot himself in the leg. The mishap occurred while he was preparing for a trip to Kolkata; as he attempted to store his licensed revolver, it slipped from his hand and discharged. The bullet struck his leg, prompting immediate medical attention. He was rushed to a hospital in Mumbai, where doctors successfully removed the bullet. Thankfully, Govinda's condition stabilized post-surgery, and reports indicate he is recovering well from the incident.

Rakesh Roshan

Rakesh Roshan, a prominent Bollywood filmmaker and actor, was shot on January 21, 2000, in an attack linked to organized crime. The incident occurred near his office in Santacruz, Mumbai, shortly after the success of his film ‘Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai.’ During the attack, two assailants fired at him, hitting his left arm and grazing his chest. Despite the severity of his injuries, Roshan demonstrated remarkable resilience by asking his driver to take him to the police station before being transferred to Nanavati Hospital for surgery. He made a full recovery and continued his successful career in the film industry.

Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson was shot nine times on May 24, 2000, outside his grandmother's house in South Jamaica, Queens. The shooting was carried out by an associate of a rival gang during a drive-by attack. 50 Cent sustained numerous injuries, including wounds to his hand, legs, and face. Reggae icon Bob Marley was shot on December 3, 1976, amid Jamaica's politically charged atmosphere. Just days before he was set to perform at the Smile Jamaica concert—a peace initiative—seven armed men invaded Marley's home and opened fire on him and several others present, including his wife and manager. Miraculously, all four individuals survived the attack. Despite being injured, Marley went on to perform at the concert as planned. The assailants were never brought to justice. This incident highlighted Marley's commitment to peace and unity during turbulent times in Jamaica.
