​'Sooryavanshi'


Akshay Kumar will be entering Rohit Shetty's cop universe with 'Sooryavanshi'. The actor will be essaying the role of an ATS officer in the film. Katrina Kaif is the leading lady of the film. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh will be making a cameo appearance as Singham and Simmba in the film.

​'Atrangi Re'

Akshay Kumar teamed up with filmmaker Aanand L Rai for his upcoming film 'Atrangi Re' co-starring South superstar Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan. The shooting of the film was wrapped in March this year. The music of the romantic drama is composed by A R Rahman and was slated for August release. However, the released date has been pushed forward due to the COVID pandemic.

​'Bachchan Pandey'


Akshay Kumar will be reuniting with Kriti Sanon for his upcoming film 'Bachchan Pandey'. The film is helmed by Farhad Samji and also stars Jacqueline Fernandez along with Akshay and Kriti. The film also features Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar and Abhimanyu Singh in pivotal roles. The film has been slated for the 2022 release.

​'Prithviraj'


Akshay Kumar's 'Prithiviraj' is helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Aditya Chopra. The film is based on the life of Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay will be essaying the title role while Manushi Chhillar makes her Hindi film debut by playing his beloved wife, Sanyogita. Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Ashutosh Rana, Sakshi Tanwar, Manav Vij and Lalit Tiwari will be seen in pivotal roles.

​'Ram Setu'


Akshay Kumar announced his ambitious project 'Ram Setu' on Diwali 2020. Helmed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading ladies. The last schedule of the film which was to be held in Mumbai had to be cancelled after Akshay Kumar tested positive for Covid-19. The set had to be dismantled after the second lockdown was announced in April.

​'Raksha Bandhan'


Akshay will be collaborating with Aanand L Rai again for the film 'Raksha Bandhan' co-starring Bhumi Pednekar. With this, Akshay will be reuniting Bhumi after their film 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha'. Announced on August 03, 2020, the film revolves around the relation between brother-sister.
