Ranbir Kapoor is riding high on the success of his latest release ‘Brahmastra’. This sci-fi drama has set the cash registers ringing out loud, ending Bollywood’s dry spell at the box office. Post this massive mythological drama, Ranbir has an interesting slate of films lined up for release. Take a look:

Ranbir Kapoor has been extensively shooting for this one with Shraddha Kapoor. ETimes had exclusively revealed that Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will essay the role of Ranbir’s parents in this family drama. Several pictures and videos from this drama have made it to the internet. This yet untitled film is slated to release on March 8, 2023, coinciding with the festive day of Holi.

Ranbir Kapoor has signed up to play the lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next directorial, titled ‘Animal’. He has been paired opposite Rashmika Mandana in this film, which also stars Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles. Stepping out for his comfort zone, Ranbir Kapoor has undergone a massive transformation for ‘Animal’. Ranbir has booked yet another holiday with ‘Animal’, as the film will hit the screens on August 11, banking on the Independence Day weekend.

Ayan Mukerji had planned ‘Brahmastra’ as a trilogy and work on the next part is already on. Ranbir Kapoor as Shiva will return to play the lead, while the makers plan to introduce several new characters too. The second part is reportedly titled ‘Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’ and the makers are planning to rope in Ranveer Singh or Hrithik Roshan for a pivotal role.

There is strong buzz that Ranbir Kapoor has signed on the dotted line for ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari’s next. The subject being ‘Ramayana’, the filmmaker has roped in Ranbir and Hrithik Roshan for pivotal lead roles. Reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have been locked for the role of Ram and Raavaan respectively. However, there has been no confirmation about this from the makers.
