The mehendi-sangeet function will be on April 29 at a suburban lounge. The haldi ceremony will take place on the morning of the wedding, followed by a quintessential Bengali shaadi that will be held at a five star hotel in South Mumbai. The bridal attires will be traditional and colour co-ordinated, reveals our source.
The couple has mutually agreed to not have a formal reception. 'They will instead be having a low-key party on the night of the wedding. It will be an intimate get-together with the couple's closest friends coming down to make their big day special,' adds our source.
After a string of break-ups that made headlines, this wedding finally gives Tinseltown a reason to celebrate.
