Asin

Ditching the usual red, Asin Thottumkal decked up in a glorious gold-and-beige lehenga for her wedding to Rahul Sharma in January 2016. A subtle maroon border added contrast to her all-golden wedding outfit. She matched her royal look with a kundan gold-and-maroon choker. Pictures from Asin and Rahul’s wedding were indeed a visual treat, sparkling in gold!

Soha Ali Khan

In a low-key wedding in 2015, Soha Ali Khan tied the knot with Kunal Kemmu. The actress had picked a regal gold-and-ivory bridal lehenga for her special day. Interestingly, Soha’s mother, Sharmila Tagore insisted on adding some colour to the ensemble and suggested ‘kesariya orange’ colour. Following instructions, Soha opted for a vibrant orange dupatta for the wedding, which perfectly complemented her gold bridal attire.

Amrita Puri

Amrita Puri tied the knot with longtime boyfriend Imrun Sethi in a gala destination wedding in Bangkok in 2017. Snapshots from her traditional wedding captured the bride in a floral gold lehenga with colourful embroidery and sequin work. Amrita opted for a sheer dupatta with a matching border to complement her stunning look. With a statement gold choker and maang-tika, Amrita Puri looked equal parts elegant and glamorous.

Natasha Dalal

Being a designer herself, Natasha opted for a subtle gold look for her wedding with Varun Dhawan in 2020. She wore a pale gold lehenga that had dual tones of silver and gold embellishments. Skipping the usual bridal reds, Natasha made a statement in her heavily embellished bridal lehenga. The minimalist bride opted for a glorious diamond necklace with an emerald pendant, pearl drop earrings and a simple maang tika. Breaking wedding stereotypes, Natasha went a step ahead and opted for silver kalire and white chooda.
