Akaay, the name chosen by Anushka and Virat for their son, has roots in both Hindi and Turkish languages. In Turkish, it is derived from 'kaaya,' meaning body. In Sanskrit, Akaay refers to "anything or something that is without kaay," which translates to something that lacks form or body.



Announcing the same on social media, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli wrote, “With abundant happiness and our hearts full of love, we are pleased to inform everyone that on 15th February, we welcomed our baby boy Akaay and Vamika’s little brother into this world!"

They have been spotted regularly walking around the city and spending quality time with their children, embracing a more low-key lifestyle.
