Animal teaser

Ahead of the grand reveal, the makers of ‘Animal’ released a pre-teaser of the Ranbir Kapoor starrer. The actor is seen in a gritty action sequences, combating everyone with an axe. Soon after it was released, internet users accused director Sandeep Reddy Vanga of allegedly copying the fight scene from South Korean film ‘Oldboy’ (2003).

Pathaan train scene

Salman and Shah Rukh Khan’s joint scene in ‘Pathaan’ was one of the biggest highlights of the movie. However, internet users felt that the action packed train sequence featuring the ‘Karan Arjun’ duo was inspired from an old animated film featuring Jackie Chan. Several similarities were drawn between the scene and a video game too, leaving internet users divided over Siddharth Anand’s choreographed action in ‘Pathaan’.

Brahmastra

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer 'Brahmastra' featured several instances of being inspired from Hollywood biggies. Astra Gurukul had a striking resemblance to X Men's school, while Ranbir Kapoor's visions reminded everyone of Harry Potter's memories of seeing the Dark Lord. And several netizens felt that Mouni Roy's villainous appearance borrowed heavily from Scarlett Witch Wanda.

Jawan

Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited film ‘Jawan’ faced some flak when the first look and teaser was unveiled last year. The actor’s bandaged face led to fans wondering if it was inspired from Hollywood film ‘Darkman’. Several users pointed out the similarity between Atlee helmed ‘Jawan’ and Liam Neeson’s 1990 superhero movie.
