Amitabh Bachchan's son-in-law Kunal Kapoor spills the beans on what life is like in the Bachchan home: 'It’s not very different from any...'
Actor Kunal Kapoor—married to Naina Bachchan, niece of Amitabh Bachchan and daughter of his younger brother Ajitabh—recently offered fans a peek into everyday life inside the famed Bachchan household.
An Ordinary Superstar Family
In a candid chat with News18 Showsha, Kunal Kapoor revealed that, despite the superstar legacy, the Bachchan household functions just like any other Indian family—simple, down‑to‑earth, and full of everyday moments.
A Seaside “I Do” and Baby Joy
Kunal Kapoor and Naina Bachchan sealed their bond with an intimate seaside ceremony in Seychelles back in 2015. Seven years later, they welcomed their first child—a baby boy—in January 2022, completing their picture‑perfect family.
Kunal has often praised Naina’s warmth and curiosity, noting that she’s anything but shy—she easily strikes up conversations and truly listens to people. He jokes that when they dine out, he’s the observer—always curious about who’s talking, who’s leading the group, and what everyone’s stories are—a trait that also helps him as an actor.
How Ramola and Ajitabh Met
In a 2002 interview with Rediff, Ramola Bachchan recalled that her friendship with Amitabh predated both of their marriages. They moved in the same Kolkata social circle during his pre‑film days, and it was through Amitabh’s introduction that she eventually met and married his younger brother, Ajitabh.
