Amitabh Bachchan buys plot worth Rs 14 crore in Ayodhya ahead of Ram Temple consecration event

Ayodhya gears up for the grand event of Ram Temple consecration on Janaury 22. Amitabh Bachchan purchases land in Ayodhya for a lavish home, located 15 mins away from the temple and 30 mins away from the Ayodhya international airport.

The city of Ayodhya is currently hitting headlines as it gears up for the grand event of Ram Temple consecration, which is scheduled for Janaury 22. Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan has purchased land in Ayodhya, where he plans to build a lavish home.
The veteran actor had bought 10,000 square feet plot in a 7-star mixed-use enclave in Ayodhya and costs Rs 14.5 crore, reports Hindustan Times. Interestingly, Big B's birthplace Allahabad (now Prayagraj) is a four-hour drive from Ayodhya. Abhinandan Lodha, the chairman of the company managing the project, confirmed the development and stated, "We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Amitabh Bachchan as the 'First Citizen' of The Sarayu, a monumental chapter in The House of Abhinandan Lodha's legacy. His investment in our Ayodhya project reflects confidence in the city's economic potential and deep appreciation for its spiritual heritage. Mr. Bachchan’s association adds extraordinary prestige, turning The Sarayu into a symbol of Ayodhya's global spiritual significance.” The said property is situated about 15 mins away from the Ram Temple, and is just 30 mins away from the Ayodhya international airport. Amitabh Bachchan owns several properties in Mumbai, which includes numerous lavish bungalows which go by the names of - Jalsa, Janak, Prateeksha and Vatsa.
Amitabh Bachchan always greets his fans outside his bungalow on Sundays. This weekend too, he met his well wishes with folded hands. Sharing pictures from the event, Big B wrote on his blog, "The Sunday as before .. in expectation of the moment .. will they won’t they .. and the cheer of driving the apprehension away .. more hands .. more hands with camera phones .. the modes change as does tha times communicate .. and the familiar faces of the Ef at appointed places , ever a joy .."
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in Tiger Shroff starrer action entertainer 'Ganapath', which was helmed by Vikas Bahl. The veteran actor is now gearing up for 'Kalki 2898 AD', which stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Big B will also be seen essaying a pivotal role in Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 170'.
