All you need to know about Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan arrested by NCB in connection to a drugs case

Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB after they busted a drugs party on-board a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast. On Thursday, a Mumbai court sent Aryan and seven others in 14-day judicial custody. As Aryan continues to trend on social media, we take a look at his education, career and his bond with family.

Aryan Khan was born to Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan on November 13, 1997. Like most star kids, he also finished his education abroad. As per reports, the young lad did schooling from London. After that, he flew to the US for his higher education at the University of Southern California. Earlier this year, pictures from Aryan’s graduation ceremony went viral on social media. Another report suggested that before joining college, Aryan was Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda’s classmate at Sevenoaks School. Their batch passed out from school in 2016.

Aryan Khan is SRK and Gauri Khan’s first child. They also have a daughter named Suhana and a younger son named AbRam. Aryan shares a close bond with his family. We often get to see pictures with his siblings. A few days back, Gauri had shared a candid picture of Aryan and AbRam that went viral on Instagram in no time. He is the apple of his mom’s eye. She often showers love on Aryan on social media, too.

A few years ago when Shah Rukh Khan was quizzed about his kids’ acting aspirations. He had revealed that Aryan wants to make films and become a director. Back then, he was studying filmmaking in the US. Once SRK also said that Aryan has been writing, directing and learning stuff for four years.

In 2019, Shah Rukh Khan’s son made his debut as Simba in ‘The Lion King’. He dubbed for the Hindi version and voiced the character Simba, while the superstar lent his voice to Mufasa. The film was released in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Fans of King Khan were quick to spot the uncanny similarities between Aryan’s voice and that of his father. Back then, SRK had tweeted on his behalf and thanked fans for their love and support. He tweeted, “Young Lions don’t tweet so on behalf of Simba #AryanKhan I want to thank u all for appreciating his effort. Doesn’t his voice sound a bit familiar? Or is it just me?”

Aryan Khan is a close friend of Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of Amitabh Bachchan. A few years back, there were rumours doing the rounds on social media that they were dating. Later, their families clarified that they are just good friends. Even Navya came out and said that she and Aryan were not dating. Abhishek Bachchan’s niece is rumoured to be dating Meezaan Jafri.
