'Luka Chuppi' box office collection Day 5: The Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer collects Rs 4.75 crore on Tuesday

Laxman Utekar directorial romantic-comedy flick 'Luka Chuppi' starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles held very well on Tuesday. The film has been able to pull the audience to the screens, especially the younger generation. Kartik has carved himself a niche with rom-com entertainers. The film also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana in pivotal roles. The film which released on March 1 clashed with Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Sonchiriya' at the box office.

According to the latest report on the Boxofficeindia.com, on Tuesday, the film has managed to rake in a total of Rs 4.75 crore on its fifth day at the box office. The film has managed to collect a total of Rs 43.75 crore at the box office in five days.

The plot of the film revolves around Guddu Shukla (Kartik Aaryan), a local reporter for a cable news channel who falls in love with a headstrong woman Rashmi Tiwari (Kriti Sanon). The couple explores the concept of live-in relationships in the small town. Things turn upside down for them as their families wrongly assume that they are married.
