Mitra Gadhvi an actor who gained popularity from his debut film 'Chhello Divas' has encountered a few interesting instances in his career. While speaking to Etimes, he revealed, "Before 'Chhello Divas' and 'Bas Ek Chance', I had auditioned for a Hindi project in Mumbai, which I cracked. It was supposed to be a multi-starrer film and I was one of the cast members. The film was shooted for 45 days but then it got canceled for some unknown reasons and hence it never got released. So, ideally, it was not 'Chhello Divas' but this untitled Hindi film which I shot first in my career."

The actor, who had performed in numerous plays in theatre, had auditioned for several projects and was fortunate enough to be chosen. "I was offered a film, out of the Hindi films I had auditioned for, while shooting my comedy picture 'Shu Thayu,' but due to the dates issue I couldn't accept the project," he told ETimes.

Mitra has overcome numerous challenges on his way to become a successful star, and probably he has done it again." Revealing another incident to ETimes, Mitra says, "In 2014, I was replaced for a television show for which I had auditioned. I couldn't meet the makers on the day they had called me for a meeting as I had my another shoot scheduled for that day and when I approached them the next day, they informed me that the casting was done and that they would contact me again."

Every artist wishes to work in the Bollywood, so does Mitra Gadhvi, When ETimes asked him about venturing into Bollywood films, he expressed, "I'll be happy to work in a Bollywood film but I would love to know the character first and then whose film it is and how it is. According to me, it's very important how you make an entry in Bollywood and what character you portray in your debut Bollywood film. So my priority would be to know the script, the makers, and the character."
