All my life, I have been surrounded by strong women and they have all influenced me in different ways. While my mother was a driving force during my growing up years, my wife made a huge difference in the way I saw life after I met her. My mother's multi-tasking abilities have always inspired me: Harmeet Desai
My mother (Archana Desai), a school principal, always amazes me with her multitasking abilities. She has been a national-level swimmer, college lecturer, dietician and done many other things. She taught me how to balance studies and table tennis, took care of my diet, and supported my pursuits financially while I was growing up. I also can’t thank her enough for the sacrifices that she has made for my career.

I come from a humble background, but my mother (Janakben) always believed in my dreams and let me pursue my career as a singer. She bought a keyboard for me from her monthly savings when I was in Class VI so that I could further my dreams. She never let me feel the pressure of financial struggle we went through as a family.
After my father's death, my mom and sister sacrificed a lot for my dreams: Priyank Panchal
I was just 15 when I lost my father but my mother (Dipti Panchal) and elder sister (Brinda) ensured that my cricketing dreams were never affected. They made a lot of sacrifices and made sure that I never had to focus on anything other than cricket. Brinda took up a job when she was just 19 and my mom also started working, something that she never had to do when my father was alive.
