FIVE reasons why you must watch Viral Rao's 'Affraa Taffri'

Trailer of the much-awaited film 'Affraa Taffri' was recently dropped by the makers and the video has got a great response from audience. The first look poster of 'Affraa Taffri' has left everyone awestruck as well as spooked out with the Khushi Shah posing as the spirit haunting a village. Apart from being the first ever horror-comedy film in Gujarati film industry, there are more reasons why this film is worth watching. So, get ready to delve into the scary yet funny world of 'Affraa Taffri' on Febraury 14. Let’s have a look at why you must watch this film:

2/6

First ever horror-comedy in Gujarati film industry

Viral Rao is known in Gujarati cinema for having directed movies like 'Family Circus'. The film was a musical comedy drama starring veteran Gujarati actor Monal Gajjar, Raunaq Kamdar, Mitra Gadhvi and others. The high credits go DOP Shreedhar Bhatt who has gave his best working on this film. After a year of the success of that film, the director has come up with another film unique to Gujarati cinema. He is bringing to the audience, the first ever horror-comedy in the industry titled 'Affraa Taffri'. The genre has never been tried in the industry and is sure to work well at the box office.

3/6

Khushi Shah’s debut

The actress, who hails from Surat, has earned credibility in the fields of modeling and has also acted in regional Bhojpuri films like 'Chal Gayil Karta Dupatta Pe' and 'Mamta Ka Karz', and Rajasthani films like 'Hiwde Se Door Mat Jaa'. And now Khushi is finally returning to her roots by debuting in Gujarati cinema with the first ever horror-comedy film directed by Viral Rao.

4/6

Khushi Shah’s screen presence

If for no other reason, then you must watch this one at least for experiencing Khushi Shah’s screen presence. Going by the first look poster and the trailer of the film, Khushi is seen in a lehenga, much like the one Deepika Padukone wears in the Bollywood hit ‘Ram Leela’. Even her hair is styled in a similar messy bun and her holding a gun in one shot totally reminds us of the Chhapaak actress. The striking similarity between the two actresses is undeniable!

5/6

Mystery

The trailer showcases the story of a village where the leader named Trikamdas is in his death bed and his last wish is to see his granddaughter Sonal married. However, the twist in the tale comes when the granddaughter played by Khushi Shah runs away and things turn spooky as well as comic. Why she looks possessed in the trailer is for you to find out!

6/6

Spooky background score

The trailer of 'Affraa Taffri' is quite scary and intriguing a great background score. The soul of every horror film lies in its well-timed background music and this film seems to have that on point. So, don’t miss out on watching the first ever horror-comedy unfolding in front of your eyes with some great music.
