He has always made it big on the silver screen, whether he is playing a supportive role or taking on the role of a negative character. But did you know that the late actor also appeared in the Gujarati rural film 'Veer Mangdawala'?

'Veer Mangdawala' showcased romantic emotional drama. The film was directed by Babubhai Mistry and featured Snehalata, Upendra Trivedi, Arvind Trivedi amongst others. Interestingly, Amjad Khan is highly known for his negative role in the film.

'Veer Mangdavalo' is based on the true story of Padmavati and Mangdavalo, who were deeply in love with each other so much so that even today their love story is being discussed in Gujarat. Be it through some Dayro or a Theatre show, the story is alive in the audience's heart.

Moreover, Amjad Khan also appeared in the Gujarati movie 'Gajra Maru'. The 1981 movie, starring Ravindra Mahajani and Sushma Verma, was directed by Mahesh Bhatt's father, the well-known filmmaker Nanabhai Bhatt.
