The music of the night...
No, this wasn’t the Phantom of the Opera, but rather, it was a gathering of some of the city’s most loved musicians at music connoisseur and businessman Saurabh Daftary’s Marine Drive residence.
Saurabh and his wife Nasreen host this annual Diwali Mehfil where their music loving friends get together for a night of, well, what else, but music. And fun and laughter, of course!
Sonu Niigaam came with his parents and wife Madhurima.
After all the meetings and greetings and exchanging of pleasantries, Hariharan took to the mike and the musical entertainment began. Kailash, Shreya and Shaan followed suit, with Shaan belting out his famous ���Chand sifarish��� which still was a big hit with the guests. But it was Sonu Niigaam���s spoofs on Udit Narayan and Anu Malik that kept the private audience in splits. Suniel and Mana Shetty made themselves comfortable on the floor and enjoyed the evening. And the mutton curry seemed to be the second most popular thing that night!
