Rascals' cast kickstarts the Diwali fest

The air at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, was festive for more than one reason on Tuesday, as hundreds gathered for a glimpse of the cast of “Rascals”. Even though the janta had to wait for an hour before the stars came, no one seemed to mind.
The stars were in town not just to promote their film, but to indulge in some festive spirit as they inaugurated the Destination Diwali festival, which is being held from October 4 to 16 at Ambience Mall in Gurgaon and Vasant Kunj.Sanjay Dutt said, “I’m very pleased to have been invited to inaugurate Destination Diwali, and coming to Delhi during the festive period is always special. It is a great initiative through which shoppers will get a chance to win lots of goodies.”
About the festival, Raj Singh Gehlot, chairman and managing director of Ambience Group, said, “Diwali signifies prosperous homes, and so we’ve come up with this unique concept of a ‘dream house’. Houses filled with goods ranging from cell phones to air conditioners have been displayed in the main atriums of both the malls, giving customers a chance to win all the goods placed inside the house.”
As part of the contest, customers have to guess the worth of all the things in the house, and the lucky ones get to win some of them every weekend. Sanju kickstarted the festival by making the first guess.
