The annual fest of a dance academy from the city had all the ingredients of an action-packed evening. The programme, filled with stunning performances, saw the presence of dance enthusiasts from the city.
Among the classical, semi-classical, contemporary and western dance categories, it was the zara hatke act by Sunny and group that grabbed the audience’s attention.The members of the group, with their masked faces, presented a hip-hop Halloween dance number much to everyone’s surprise.
“Jabbawockeez, the dance troop from the US, is our inspiration,” a member of the band said. Sunny’s next performance on the song Kya karoon o ladies sent the female fans into a tizzy. With an impact so powerful, the event will surely stay with the audience for a very long time.
