Consul General of Japan in Kolkata organised a reception party recently on the occasion of the 60th birthday of the Emperor of Japan. Masayuki Taga, the consul general played the perfect host and the event kick started with the singing of national anthems of India and Japan, which was followed by the speech by the consul general.
While addressed the audience, he expressed his belief that Indo-Japan relations, especially, relations between Japan and Eastern India will be further fortified with more people to people interactions in the coming years.
A number of guests including diplomats, army officers, actors and singers were invited for the event.
