Kolkata Metro Showcases Innovation and Legacy at InnoMetro 2026

Metro Railway, Kolkata, participated in the sixth edition of InnoMetro, Asia’s leading exhibition and conference for the metro, railway and urban mobility sectors, held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from May 21 to 22, 2026.The event, themed ‘AI-Enabled Sustainable Urban Mobility for Viksit Bharat’, brought together industry leaders, policymakers and technology experts to showcase innovations shaping the future of transportation. Metro Railway used the platform to present its evolution as India’s first metro system, while highlighting its ongoing efforts to adopt modern and sustainable technologies.Through a specially curated exhibition stall, Metro Railway showcased its rich legacy in urban transportation alongside its latest technological initiatives.
