Turf football fever grips Kochi

The recently-held five-a-side

football tournament

at Campeones Arena in Kochi had 32 teams vying with each other for the ever-rolling trophy. The event organised by

Gravity Fitness

saw the organisers’ team reach the finals for a showdown with the

Abasoft FC

.

The matches were played with five members in each team and two halves of 10 minutes each. Gravity Fitness won the finals with a score of 3-2 in a thrilling game.

The victorious team also won a cash prize of Rs 20,000 and a winners’ trophy while the runners up staked claim of Rs 10,000 and the runner-up trophy.
