A red carpet welcome for these Kanpurites

The award night organised by a social club in Kanpur was high on the entertainment quotient. Organised at a banquet hall in the city, the venue was decorated with huge cut-outs of actor Amitabh Bachchan. The guests were given a red-carpet welcome in order to give them a hundred percent feel of an award night. Dressed in western outfits, the members not only walked the red-carpet but also posed for the shutterbugs at a selfie corner, which had pictures of Amitabh Bachchan and club members as the backdrop.

Deepak Gupta, one of the key organisers ensured that the do was a success. The stage performance of the guests made the award ceremony an entertaining one. We spotted Pallavi Kanodia, Akhil Kanodia, Gaurav Mehra entertaining everyone with their power-packed dance performances on the latest Bollywood tracks.
