The Jaipur Wax Museum is all set to house the wax statue of Sawai Man Singh II, the last ruling maharaja of Jaipur. His statue will be erected just next to the two wax statues of Maharani Gayatri Devi, his wife. We managed to get the first look of the statue. Anoop Srivastava, founder-director of Jaipur Wax Museum, said, “Tourists visiting the museum always expressed their desire to see Rajmata Gayatri Devi with her husband Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. Keeping their wish in mind, we have started our work on his statue as well. Soon, the tourists will get to see the couple in our museum.” The statue’s height will be approximately 5 feet and 10 inches.

A life-size canvas portrait was painted live in front of the visitors by Jaipur-based artist Aarti Parihar. This painting depicted the queen in the avatar of a sportswoman - an excellent horse rider and polo player,” he said.
