Dolly J's lazy Sunday brunch

A lazy Sunday spent eating organic food over a showcasing of designer wear sounds perfect. And that was how it was when fashion designer Dolly J hosted a Sunday brunch for her friends at her studio, Rewaz, to launch her new collection.
And it was not only Dolly’s collection that was colourful, but the food too. The chapattis, to everyone’s surprise, were pink in colour.“They are designer chapattis,” joked fashion designer Joy Mitra.
The high and low of it: A low seating arrangement was done to keep things ‘natural’ and bring back the teaching of ‘mindful eating’. The food was definitely the high point of the event. The guests were all praise for the collection, food and the lady behind it all. Sitting cross-legged on the floor and being served food by the host was something unlike what happens at the usual dos, and was liked by all.
Talk TV: Aruna Mukim, a member of the Censor Board, was talking about Avika Gaur aka Anandi’s exit from the show Balika Vadhu. “The show is taking a leap of five years and Avika will soon be replaced,” she announced and added, “In my opinion, Avika is a great crowd puller.”
