Delhi’s first magic fest

Do you love the tricks that David Blaine or Criss Angel have up their sleeve? Or do you like to perform a few magic tricks of your own? For all those Delhiites who love the art of magic, this is happy news. Delhi Tourism is organizing the first Magic Festival at Pitampura Dilli Haat, in technical collaboration with the India Brotherhood of Magicians.
Starting today, this “entertainment bonanza”, as Manoj Kumar, manager, Delhi Tourism, puts it, is set to go on till October 9.
“Magic is not only for kids anymore, this is a family affair. This grand magic fest will feature world-class sleight of hand, mind reading hypnotism and ventriloquism. Over 30 magicians from India, like Shavvi Chauhan, Sachin Pal Yadav, Rahul Kharbanda and Haneef Khan, are participating,” said Kumar, adding, “We also have renowned magician Dorothee, who’s coming down all the way from France for this festival. It’s going to be huge.” The festival will also have magic workshops and painting and fancy dress competitions, among many other things.
