An exhibition to promote Indian handicraft

To promote Indian handicraft products and spirit of craftsmanship, Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India Ltd (CCIC) is organising Kala Sampada an exhibition-cum-sale for the revival of traditional craft form that is losing its popularity and fading into oblivion due to multiple factors such as global competition, changing consumer tastes, non-availability of skilled artisans and diversification of the skilled craft persons to other economically viable occupations etc.

The products on display will range from wooden toys, sanjhi craft, rogan paintings, Chamba rumal, matka noil silk, Akola and Nandana hand block prints , mashru, Patan Patola sarees and dupattas, Nagpuri cotton.
