The students of BSSS recently flaunted their ethnic avatars at the Traditional Day held at their college.

The students of BSSS recently flaunted their ethnic avatars at the Traditional Day held at their college. Not only students, but the teachers also came all decked-up for the occasion, which included a ramp-walk round –the main attraction of the day.
The event also had title holder Miss Beautiful Smile and Miss Photogenic at Femina Miss India 2013, Anukriti Gusain, as the chief guest.

She also walked the ramp to cheer the participating students and received thunderous applause for it.
Astha Soni, a BCom student, said, “It’s such a happening event. The dance and rock-band performances have soared the temperatures even higher.” Apoorva Tiwari, a second-semester student, remarked, “We are celebrating the most-awaited day of BSSS. It’s just like an amalgamation of different cultures and traditions of India. And the best part our teachers walking the ramp in different avatars.”
Draped in a pink sari with the winning crown on her head, Anukriti was the cynosure of all eyes. “Being in Bhopal is a good experience and I am sure I’ll come back here again. Bhopal is beautiful, just like my home town in Uttarakhand,” she said.
And some titles and prizes: Over 200 students took part in the ramp-walk round titled, Made In India. The titles of Best Traditionally-Dressed Males were bagged by Bharat Talreja, Yusuf Faraz and Saif Ahmed. Among the girls, Bableen, Sana and Bushra won the titles. The Face Of The Crowd title was given to Tarun Kalra. Among the teachers, Amir Mehboob, Sapna Pillai, Smita Pillai and Surabhi Dixit got lucky.
