Yoga and music have a special place in Indian knowledge streams. Yogis, sages, ascetics and acharyas have made yoga and music the basis. Due to its interrelationship, India stresses on the importance of the two. On the occasion of World Yoga Day and Music Day on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, a one-day function was organized by the Directorate of Culture. The program began with lamp lighting, during which Director Culture Aditi Kumar Tripathi, Deputy Director Vandana Pandey, Director, Tribal Folk Arts and Language Development Academy Dr. Dharmendra Pare along with artist Mithali and Tejas Vinchurkar, Pune, Anu Sinha Delhi, Surya Prakash Srivastava, Bhopal were present.
The cultural evening began with singing presentation Suryaprakash Srivastava and group, who performed many melodious songs. He was accompanied by Pritam Yadav, Tanu Halede, Yashwant Pandey, Amit Kumar Sitha on keyboard, Rasik Chandra Dwivedi on tabla, Devraj Srivas on flute, Pradeep Tamra on octopad.

The second presentation was Jugalbandi on tabla and flute by Mithali and Tejas Vinchurkar from Pune. He played with the Rupak Taal Bandish in Raga Hemvati on the flute. Then in the next sequence, jugalbandi was done in Raga Hansdhwani on upbeat three taal. The artists concluded their performance with a Pahari Dhun. During the program, the artists enthralled the audience and the audience with ragas and bandish by jugalbandi on tabla and flute.
The closing presentation of the function was done by Ms. Anu Sinha and Group, Delhi with Kathak group dance.
