Returning to realise a mission which is nothing but impossible, the actor takes the action sequences a notch higher with stunts that have never been seen before. Girl Power

Mission Impossible may be symbolic with Tom Cruise but like a woman is behind a man’s success, we obviously can’t undermine the presence of the female lead in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation - Rebecca Ferguson. Joining the MI team, Rebecca was on her toes from day one as she shot the first scene while scaling the Vienna Opera House in the company of Tom Cruise. Not only this, she matched shoulder to shoulder with Cruise in the action flick as she can be seen biking and performing a blink and miss flip move in a yellow slit gown in the film’s trailer.

Plane stunt

The moment we saw Tom Cruise running atop a flying plane in a scene from the film, we all knew this one is going to be worth waiting for. The Knight And Day star created a uproar among his fans as he shot a scene in a tuxedo, fighting and hanging mid-air from a flying Airbus A400M Atlas, 5000 feet above. The scene was shot at RAF Wittering in Cambrideshire without any body-double and was just fantastic. The scene stills went viral on social media, creating much hype ahead of the film’s release.

Diving deep

Tom Cruise has performed the most varied gravity-defying stunts in this MI flick. The Top Gun actor has not just pulled extremes by hanging from a flying plane but has also dived deep for an under water sequence. He trained hard under diving specialist Kirk Krack to hold his breath for 6 to 61/2 minutes and performed the never seen before stunt in a single take without any edits. Talking about the scene with USA Today, Tom revealed that he has done a lot of underwater sequences but always wanted to create a suspense underwater sequence with no cuts. We are sure his dream has come true with this one.

All that one can imagine

It is very difficult for fans who love speed, to choose from the Mission Impossible series and the Fast and Furious series. But this one gives a lot more than one can imagine. While Rebecca Ferguson performed a free fall from the height of 120 feet without Tom Cruise in a solo scene, Cruise has some really fast bike chasing scenes on edgy mountain roads besides his usual action delights every now and then. And intertwined with an all new intense suspense story, this one is just going to be amazing!!!
