Michael Jackson lived a very lonely life. He had never really enjoyed a normal childhood. In his interview with Oprah, Michael Jackson confessed, "I used to always cry from loneliness. There is all the success and then there is the other side, rehearsals and all where you give up yourself. You don't get to do things that other children do. I would have to go and work instead, it would make me sad." There was a lot of success Michael Jackson experienced, but he paid a huge price with his childhood. And he used to cry because he didn't get to play.
