One of most loved Hollywood actor, Robin Williams was reportedly found dead at his residence in California. According to a report on the timesofindia website, the sheriff's department suspected that the cause of death was suicide due to asphyxia. Robin Williams was 63 years old, and his birthday was just last month, on July 21. The man who has tickled the funny bone through the years, and entertained the audiences in different roles, has unfortunately passed away. There were also reports of the actor indulging more in alcohol. According to a report on theguardian.com, Robin Williams was quoted saying, "I just thought, hey, maybe drinking will help. Because I felt alone and afraid. It was that thing of working so much, and going f***, maybe that will help. And it was the worst thing in the world." Talking about his first drink, Robin Williams had further said, "You feel warm and kind of wonderful. And then the next thing you know, it's a problem, and you're isolated."

Robin Williams was reportedly close to cyclist, Lance Armstrong. According to a report on the Daily Mail, the actor was close to the athlete. The report further stated that Robin Williams was much in shock about Lance's confessions on Oprah Winfrey show, and that Robin strongly believed in Lance. Reportedly, Robin Williams had also written the foreword for Lance's book, 'Lance Armstrong: Images of a Champion'. Saddened by the news of Robin's death, Lance had posted, "RIP Robin. I will always remember you as one hell of a friend. I love you and will miss you terribly."
