All about Knox and Vivienne: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s youngest 17-year-old twins

While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's personal lives have been the hot topic for headlines for years now, details about their children's lives have been kept quite private. This goes especially for Jolie’s youngest children, twins Knox Léon Jolie-Pitt and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt, who are already 17 years old now. A recent update about Knox has even left many people wondering about what the duo has been up to.

In 2008, when the twins were born, there was a lot of buzz about their birth, and many people had been attempting to catch a glimpse of the two of them. In order to control the situation, Jolie and Pitt at the time had decided to sell the photographs and control their release for millions of dollars, and then had later donated all of the money to charity.

In an old feature with PEOPLE at the time, Jolie had shared what it was like to have the twins at home. She had stated, “It is chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time,” while Pitt had added that “[It’s] still a cuckoo’s nest.” They had also mentioned in the interview that Shiloh and Zahara were great helpers when it came to the twins.

“[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins’] clothes and help change and hold them. It’s sweet – they are little mommies”, Jolie added.

Recently, Knox made headlines after a video shared by an Angelina Jolie fan account was circulated online and went viral. In the video, the 17-year-old is seen addressing a crowd and saying, "Tonight, I'm gonna be fighting at Total Sonic Knockout 5 at 12:45 a.m., so catch me. I'm gonna knock ‘em the f*** out!"

His interest in martial arts and Muay Thai, along with the recent news of him being a high school graduate, has left fans wondering more about the twins’ lives. The last time that Knox was seen at a public event was almost two years ago, when he accompanied his mother to a red carpet event.

Vivienne appeared alongside her mother in ‘Maleficent’ and played the role of her goddaughter briefly. While talking to Vogue in 2014, Jolie had mentioned that she does not really see her children becoming actors in the industry. She had stated, “We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors. That's not the goal for Brad and me at all. But the other three- and four-year-olds wouldn't come near me. It had to be a child who liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws. So it had to be Viv."

Angelina Jolie has always kept most of her children’s lives away from prying eyes and has even talked about how her children prefer to stay away from the fame and glamorous life of Hollywood. While talking on ‘Good Morning America’, Jolie talked about the same and cited, "None of my children wants to be in front of the camera. Quite private. Shiloh’s extremely private. They weren’t born with privacy. So, I hope they can have that as they grow."
