On Sunday, Bhojpuri actress Akanksha Dubey ended her life in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. The actress allegedly died by suicide at the age of 25 and her body was found dead in a hotel room.
Several Bhojpuri celebrities attend the last rite of Akanksha Dubey which was held in Varanasi. Her co-stars such as Sanjay Pandey, Tanushree and others joined Dubey's family at the funeral. Akanksha's mother was seen crying inconsolably while looking at her daughter's body.
Akanksha's family has now demanded a CBI inquiry into her death. They have filed a complaint against Bhojpuri actor boyfriend Samar Singh and his brother Sanjay Singh at the Sarnath police station. Madhu Dubey has alleged that the actor and his elder brother Sanjay had threatened to kill her daughter on March 21 because he wanted Akanksha to work only with him.
